Day
01 : Flight Moscow / Delhi , Arrive Delhi late night(early morning Day2) ,
Transfer Hotel Bill Palace or similar
Day 02 : Fullday sight seeing Tour Delhi, Overnight Train ( Delhi / Mughal
Sarai -Maghad Express or Vaishali Express),
Day 03 - Arrive Mughal Sarai , Transfer to Varanasi
Morning arrive Varanasi, Transfer to hotel (Check in hotel 1200 hrs noon),
Afternoon city tour of Sarnath: famous for its Dhamekh Stupa and for it being
the place where Buddha preached his first sermon enshrining the principle
of his teachings into laws. Overnight at hotel India or Similar.
Day 04 - Ealry morning Boat cruise, Drive Varanasi / Bodhgaya ( 270 Kms /
7-8 hrs)
At dawn enjoy boat ride at River Ganges, followed by a city tour covering
- Vishwanath Temple, Bharat Mata Temple etc. continue drive to Boadhgaya,
Overnight Hotel Taj Darbar or similar.
Day 05 : Bodhgaya / Rajgir / Nalanda/Patna ( 210 Kms / 6 hrs)
Today Temple visit at Bodhgaya and set on drive to Rajgir/ Nalanda / Sapta pari
cave and Venevamas. you will come across with many locales of Buddhist significance,
i.e., Rajgir : an important Buddhist pilgrimage since the Buddha spent 12 years
here , and the first Buddhist council after the Buddha attained Nirvana was
held here, Nalanda : founded in the 5th century known as center of intellectualism,
after Nalanda continue drive to Patana. Overnight at hotel Chanakya
Day 06 - Patna - Vaishali - Kushinagar ( 300 Kms / 8 hrs)
Today after breakfast proceed to Vaishali, a very special place to Buddhists
as The Lord delivered his last sermon & announced his impending " Nirwana".
See the majesty of Ashok Pillar - Lotus tank, Chaumukhi & proceed to Kushinagar
for overnight stay Hotel Pathik Niwas.
Day 07 - Kushinagar - Lumbini ( 175 Kms / 6 hrs)
Morning visit Mahanirvana Temple, the modern Japan/Srilanka Buddhist center
& monasteries , then proceed to Lumbini. Overnight at hotel
Day 08 - Lumbini - Kapilvastu - Sravasti - Balrampur ( 250 Kms/ 7-8 hrs)
Morning visit to Ashoka’s pillar (249 BC) rediscovered in 1890’s inside
thick sal forest, a temple of Mayadevi, the ruins of an old monastery and some
new stupas, then in the afternoon proceed to Balrampur enroute visiting Sravasti
where you will see the extensive ruins of this ancient city & Jetavana Monastery.
On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel Pathink Niwas.
Day 09 - Balrampur - Lucknow
Early morning after breakfast, proceed to Lucknow, Transfer to Railway station
on Shatabdi Express LKO/DEL, Late evening arrive Delhi, upon arrival Delhi,
Transfer to International airport to boar on flight.
